About Us

The Silk Road Economic Belt and the 21^st-century Maritime Silk Road, referred to as “One Belt, One Road” (OBOR), also known as “The Belt and Road Initiative”. It is a transnational economic belt initiated and led by the government of the People’s Republic of China in 2013, investing in nearly 70 countries and international organizations. Its scope covers mainland China, Central Asia, North and West Asia, the coasts of the Indian Ocean, the Mediterranean coast, South America, and the Atlantic countries that the Silk Road and Maritime Silk Road traveled through in Chinese history.

One Belt, One Road (OBOR), was proposed by President Xi Jinping in 2013, with the goal of building a community shared interests, a community of shared future and a community of shared responsibility in a win-win strategy, and has received a lot of international attention.
